Dude...where's my ammo?!
 

Went to Cabelas yesterday and a few Academy's....

there is no handgun ammo and there is little if ANY rifle ammo....

this also includes projectiles. My normal 168 BTHP was out of stock...

all I got is a few cans of H4895.

So I feel real sorry for everyone I told 3 yrs ago. TOLD YOU SO.

I should have bought more....but my ass is covered.

I got my popps in at the last minute before prices went through the roof and inventories dried up.

Mark Keornke was right 3 yrs ago when he said VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET.

Yeah I went to my local Academy Friday. Pistol Ammo was ALL out. all they had was a few boxes .38+P.

I did score 2 200rnd Value Packs of UMC .223- 100 buks a pop:banghead:

But THEY HAD SOME... so I picked it up:biggrin:

Also was able to score 10 boxes of 00.:ok:

Now if I can just find some .45, 9 and .40....

i called cabelas yesterday and 'backordered' 3,000 rounds of 9mm. the lady told me to honestly not plan on getting it anytime soon, as they have no idea when they will get any.

i find it amazing that cabelas has no 9mm ammo. that's like a 7-11 not having candy.

One more "no ammo thread"... my friend and me visited a large central Oh. gunshop/indoor range today.
The good news, they had plenty of 1K cases of 7.62x39 from Poland...
The bad news, it was $370 with tax, same ammo I paid $110 in the wayback.

The good news, they had a very limited supply of handgun ammo. I didn't even bother to ask for prices.
The bad news, 1 box limit per customer.

Also, their CCW classes were booked solid months in advance (3 classes per week with 20 students each).

AMAZING!

just order 5 boxes of Hornady� Custom™ Pistol Ammo from bass pro shop it was 9mm
